16 Hot-Selling Amusement Machines You Can Source From One Chinese Factory
29 October, 2026Description: Everything amusement operators need to know before importing capsule toy vending machines — cabinet sizes, capsule diameters, coin mechanisms, ROI by location, and why YUNRUI's Zhongshan mold line matters.
Published: October 2026Gashapon — the Japanese-style capsule toy vending machine — has long outgrown Tokyo. Today, capsule toy corners are popping up in shopping malls, anime conventions, department stores, and claw-machine specialty stores from Seoul to São Paulo.
For operators, the appeal is obvious: low labor cost, tiny footprint, and a product (capsule toys) that customers collect on impulse. But not every gashapon machine is built the same. This guide walks you through what to specify before you place a container order.
1. Cabinet Style: Plastic Mini vs. Full-Metal TowerYUNRUI offers two gashapon families:· Plastic mini gashapon machines — lightweight, modular. Made on YUNRUI's own Zhongshan mold line, they ship complete machine packaging together . Ideal for pop-up events, anime stores, and mall walkways.· Full-ABS / double-layer capsule towers — heavier, more premium-looking, often grouped into a 6-unit or 10-unit wall. Best for permanent arcade corners and dedicated gashapon shops.Rule of thumb: if your venue is <20 sqm or changes layout often, start with plastic mini units. If you are building a flagship gashapon corner, invest in the ABS lineup.
2. Capsule Diameter Must Match Your Toy Supply· 55 mm capsules — for larger figures, keychains, and miniature plush.· 75 mm capsules — for premium blind-box and pet-themed toys.
Before ordering machines, lock in which capsule size your local toy suppliers can stock. A machine that cannot be restocked locally will kill your margins.
3. Payment Mechanism: Coin, Bill, or Cashless· Single coin acceptor — cheapest, best for markets with widely used tokens (Japan, Korea).· Coin + bill validator — standard for Western shopping malls.· QR code / — the fastest-growing option, especially in Southeast Asia and China export markets.· Card reader—Suitable for countries with credit card payment habits in Europe and America; card readers exclusive to individual countries can also be integrated.YUNRUI pre-installs and tests the mechanism you specify, so the machine works on day one.
4. Typical ROI by Location· Anime / hobby store — 8-12 capsules sold per unit per day at USD 2-3 each.· Shopping mall atrium — 15-25 capsules per unit on weekends.· Claw-machine store corner — high attach rate, visitors buy a capsule after winning a prize.· Convention / pop-up event — 50+ capsules per day during peak hours.
Why the Zhongshan Mold Line MattersMost Chinese gashapon exporters buy generic plastic shells from a third-party mold shop. YUNRUI owns its mold line in Zhongshan, which means two things for buyers: (1) consistent fit-and-finish across re-orders, and (2) the ability to custom-mold cabinet colors, logos, and sticker panels for ODM / OEM clients — without paying a mold-breaking fee on top.
